3 Ingredient Crockpot Cranberry Meatballs

This is my Grandma's famous recipe for cranberry sauce meatballs. They are three ingredients, because the meatballs themselves are always a big bag of frozen meatballs from Sam's Club.

I was going to make a brand new recipe for meatballs from scratch for this post. The only problem is, I had a little helper. He was "stirring" the meat mixture for me (read: stabbing a spoon in and out of it vigorously and flinging bits of raw meat and parsley everywhere). I turned around for one second, and he had dumped an entire bottle of garlic powder in and begun stirring (stabbing) it into the meatballs.

I decided to bake them anyway, but of course, I forgot to set a timer, got busy with the kids getting up to no good or something, and when I finally went to check on them, they were burnt to a crisp.

So, frozen meatballs it is.

Whether you choose to use frozen or homemade meatballs, they will be delicious. They taste like Christmas Eve and Grandma's house to me, but they would be great for any appetizer or even as a meal. Sometimes Grandma makes them and serves some buttered angel hair pasta on the side and some veggies for a complete meal.

    • 3 Ingredient Crockpot Cranberry Meatballs

    • 14 oz. can jellied cranberry sauce
    • 12 oz. bottle Heinz chili sauce
    • 2 lbs. precooked meatballs (use a bag of frozen ones or try making a big batch of my homemade meatball recipe)

    • Heat the cranberry sauce and chili sauce on the stovetop or in the microwave until melted and smooth. Add frozen meatballs and cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 4 hours.
    • You may also make them in the oven. Preheat the oven to 375ºF and put the meatballs in a 9x13 pan and cover with sauce. Bake for 1 hour.
