The Baby!

He's finally here!!!!!!!

Actually he's been here for almost two weeks (which you probably already know if you follow on Facebook or Instagram). I've just been too busy cuddling the little squish to give you any details.

So then, details...

He was born on October 2. I woke up in the morning and realized that this was the day. We moseyed on over to the hospital and they said I could go home for a while if I was more comfortable because it still might be a while. At about 3:15 that afternoon, I went back to the hospital and the little dude was born two hours later.

The only part I didn't like was being at the hospital afterwards. Mainly because when I asked for an icepack, the gave me TWO ICE CUBES wrapped in gauze.

"I don't think you understand my situation. These ice cubes are nothing to me."

"You already had an icepack a little while ago. It could irritate your skin if you have an icepack on too much."

Ok then.

We made our escape from the hospital soon afterwards, against the advice of all the paranoid nurses and pediatricians who wanted to monitor and check everything for another whole day. And what do you know, he's still alive and healthy. And as for me, those crazy nurses wouldn't believe all the ice packs I was using when I got home.

Since then, we have just been enjoying the little guy. He's very good natured, doesn't really cry, and is a great sleeper. We can already tell that he's probably the smartest baby in the world. He's definitely the cutest. Oh, and he's strong too. He can already lift up his neck!

Yes, we are already those annoying, bragging parents. But this time, you can believe us. He's really the best.
