Blueberry Almond Smoothie

I'm picky about smoothies. I don't like them too sweet. I don't like them too tart. They must be super creamy, smooth, and thick. I also don't like bananas in them. Maybe I'm weird. Usually I don't even make smoothies because I'm so ridiculously hard to please that I can't even please myself. But now that I have discovered this smoothie recipe, everything has changed.

It first happened when I had an old jar of almond butter that I needed to use up. I decided to throw it in the smoothie I was making.

After one taste, I knew I had struck gold. I made them again for Samuel the next night, eager to see if he thought they were as amazing as I did.

I didn't say anything, but watched him take a sip out of the corner of my eye.

"What is in this smoothie?!" he cried, "This is the best smoothie ever! Please never make any other smoothie ever again!"

Well, I hope your reaction is the same. Enjoy.

    • Blueberry Almond Smoothie Recipe
    • Makes 2 smoothies

    • 1 cup vanilla greek yogurt
    • 1/3 cup almond butter
    • A splash of milk
    • 2 1/2 cups frozen blueberries

    • Blend the yogurt and almond butter in your blender until smooth. Add a splash of milk (maybe 1/3 cup). Only add as much as you need for your blender to be able to process the smoothie.
